Understanding the Band of Regulation and the Ten Hurdles will allow the participants to better understand the unique differences/challenges facing an individual with ASD, and to create interventions likely to succeed.  Participants will leave with the tools they need to analyze difficult solutions and move toward meaningful progress.

The instructor will present his framework for:

  • Understanding the regulatory needs of individuals with ASD
  • Determining the unique Hurdles each individual encounters
  • Creating ways that parents and professionals can better understand these needs and then intervene more effectively to develop social enjoyment skills
