Medication Assistance

The medication assistance class is for staff who are providing in-home services and do not have the medication administration as part of their job requirement.  Medication assistance means to enable the person to self-administer medication or treatment when the person is capable of directing their own care, or when the person’s legal representative is present and able to direct care for the person.
