This training is designed to give staff an understanding of Type 1 Diabetes so they can support the people that they give services to. In this training, you will learn:
- What is Type 1 Diabetes
- How to monitor Blood Glucose Levels
- Understand what is Hypoglycemia and Hyperglycemia
This training will also be supplemented with a training by a nurse who will teach you how to do Blood Glucose checks and administer insulin.
