Stephen Hage is the Chief Administrative Officer for Orion Associates, the management company for Meridian Services,  Zenith Services and Orion ISO. In this position, he is responsible for the organization’s Human Resources and Training functions, with an emphasis on the organization’s internal and external communications.

Stephen’s goal for Orion Associates, Meridian Services, Zenith Services and Orion ISO has been to create an organization in which people are given the opportunity to achieve personal and professional fulfillment. He recognizes the organization’s primary goal of providing consumers with services of the highest quality possible and believes that one of the best ways to accomplish this goal is by providing the organization’s employees with the best work environment possible. Stephen intends to see that working for the organization is a very positive experience. He hopes to accomplish this goal by working to provide employees with superior wages and benefits, with advancement potential, with an excellent staff of co-workers and with supervisors who care about the professional growth and personal satisfaction of their employees. Stephen’s education includes a Bachelor of Arts degree from Saint Olaf College. He has a Master of Arts degree in Religion from Yale University Divinity School and a Master of Arts degree in Organizational Management from Concordia University, Saint Paul. Stephen has also completed extensive Human Resources Generalist coursework at the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management.

Stephen’s professional experience includes working for Meridian Services as a Habilitation Counselor during the company’s early years, while he was in and immediately after graduate school. He began his career in the Human Resources and Training field working for Control Data Corporation as a Training Consultant. He was subsequently employed by Med-Care Associates, working initially as a Staffing Coordinator, and later promoted within that company to the position of Personnel Coordinator. He held the position of Human Resources Manager with VEE Corporation, and then became the Director of Human Resources for the Greenwood Residences. When Meridian Services expanded into the Twin Cities area, he returned to the company as Human Resources Administrator. With Meridian Services’ continued expansion and restructuring, Stephen’s position became that of Chief Administrative Officer. He transferred to Orion Associates with that company’s inception.

Stephen and his wife Lara, reside in Edina, along with their three daughters and son. He enjoys theater, film, reading, music, photography and travel, as well as church and family activities. In his free time, Stephen is a member of a long established book club, with friends from college. Stephen is also an actor, performing regularly with the Minnesota Opera.  Stephen also performs with The Gilbert & Sullivan Very Light Opera Company, a Minneapolis based theater company dedicated to presenting the operettas of W.S. Gilbert and Sir Arthur Sullivan, and serves as Producer on the company’s Board of Directors.
